A critical component of Addiction Recovery at Union Mission is the Transitional Phase. The Transitional Phase has been designed to prepare residents to become
productive members of society by gradually acclimating them to a new way of life within a supportive environment. The goal is to reduce the overwhelming feelings, which often come when taking on many unfamiliar responsibilities, in order to prevent residents from returning to destructive habits. We are excited to welcome ten more residents into the Transitional Phase in April. True recovery begins when you take what you have learned in treatment and apply it to life in the world. This is what our Transitional Phase is all about.
To support these renovations efforts and the residents in the transitional phase, donations can be made online by clicking here or by sending a check to PO Box 112, Charleston, WV 25321. (Please indicate “transitional phase” on your check.)
