Union Mission has been blessed with the opportunity and privilege to distribute food and clothing throughout West Virginia. Our warehouse in Charleston is the central point of distribution as we assist more than 20 churches, food pantries, and outreach programs throughout the state. Our food resources are also used at our men’s shelter providing 3 meals a day, 365 days a year and at our addiction recovery program for men and women. As a result of sharing these resources, we gain the privilege of sharing the love of God with the hurting. Many have come to know Christ through the Outreach ministry. The food distributed is received as gifts-in-kind from businesses, food resource programs, and other ministry programs.

In looking to the future we want to continue to provide emergency assistance to our state when special needs arise. We also seek to expand our Outreach Ministry in training local churches to recognize and serve the needy of their community. Most importantly, we intend to continue taking the Gospel to every man, woman, and child whose physical needs we address.
