Joe Holland Chevrolet has partnered with Union Mission to help see our Emergency Response Team (ERT) accelerate rapidly.
Joe Holland Chevrolet provided DEEP discounts on two new Chevrolet 4×4 pickup trucks to serve as response vehicles. With the help of a very generous, longtime supporter of Union Mission, Jason and his leadership team were able to take possession of the trucks last month.
“These trucks are really going to help the ERT become a reality much sooner than we expected,” says Heath Fain, VP of Operations for Union Mission. “Having two new reliable 4×4 trucks will allow our team to access some of the most remote areas in the region. This is a game changer!”
“Joe Holland’s discounts and other contributions have allowed Union Mission to focus start-up funds to meet people’s needs already,” explains Gearry Bailey, VP of Finance for Union Mission. “We expected it would take months to raise enough extra funds to acquire one truck for the ERT. We never dreamed we would be a month in and already have two trucks acquired. This will allow us to launch much sooner.”
We asked Joey Holland why he was so eager to work with Union Mission on this project.
“The Holland family has supported the mission for decades, but when Jason showed me the Paint Creek video and I saw the needs of this family, I just had to get involved even more,” Joey explains. “Jason said his biggest need was to have reliable transportation that could safely reach these remote locations. I had the obvious solution to meet that need. I am anxious to see this ministry effort expand and I hope to have Joe Holland Chevrolet be an ongoing partner in this effort.”
