On January 10, 2019, fourteen men and women graduated from Union Mission’s Addiction Recovery Program. Attended by a host of family and friends, the ceremony commenced at Kingdom Life Fellowship Church in Nitro, West Virginia.

Union Mission’s Addiction Recovery Program is a long-term faith-based program where men and women learn how to live a life of complete victory over addiction. Graduation from the program is an important milestone and accomplishment for our graduates and their loved ones. They graduate the program with a commitment to sober living, a commitment to Christ and a new lease on life they never thought possible.

By the time our clients are ready to graduate, they’ve already begun the transition from life in the program to reentering society. Our Vocational Advancement Program assists the graduates with the necessary tools to further their education, learn new job skills, obtain employment, reunite with their families and become productive members of their communities.

Throughout the recovery program great bonds are created between Union Mission’s staff, volunteers and graduates. These bonds serve as reminders of the incredible process we are privileged to facilitate as these men and women make changes physically, emotionally and spiritually for the better. Please join us as we celebrate these graduates and their new beginnings.

Special thanks to Kingdom Life Fellowship Church and their congregation for their hospitality ensuring a wonderful graduation ceremony!
