The Trans-Siberian Orchestra will be coming to Charleston on Wednesday, November 30 to do a performance at the Charleston Civic Center. This year they have chosen Union Mission as their charity partner for the event and will be donating proceeds from each ticket sold at the Charleston concert. They will also be working with WCHS TV and Union Mission in a massive food drive to feed the hungry this holiday season.
The Trans-Siberian Orchestra is known for their extensive charity work and elaborate concerts, which include a string section, a light show, lasers, “enough pyro to be seen from the international space station”, moving trusses, video screens, and effects synchronized to music.
