Our 50 plus year old campus is starting to show its age. Currently, of the 55 (yes that is correct) air conditioning units we have 6 have decided to call it quits for good. The repairs and patchwork we have been able to do the last several years have finally given out.
Since we are headed into cooler months, this wouldn’t normally be as critical except for the fact that it can negatively affect our certification to host addiction recovery services.
We are regularly inspected to make sure we are providing the necessary accommodations for a residential addiction recovery program. One of those key inspection points is climate controlled facilities. Without these units functioning, we stand in jeopardy of losing our certification.
We are sorry to keep asking so heavily this summer, but we are a bit desperate to raise $30,000 as quickly as possible to get these units replaced. Please pray the funds will arrive before we risk losing our certification to help men and women with addiction issues.
