There is a problem that has been brewing over the past several years and that problem is turning into a trend. Union Mission is running out of food.

In an attempt to be proactive in facing this trend of declining food sources, Union Mission launched a new Sustainable Agriculture Program in the spring of 2018.

UPDATE: 2024

This program has had its ups and downs since then. The biggest obstacles are startup capital and management. Any form of agriculture requires money to establish infrastructure and people to do the work. In those areas we have struggled to be consistent.

However, thanks to a new grant awarded to Union Mission from the Pallottine Foundation, we have some startup capital to attempt to get this program off the ground again. See the post below for additional details.
